Buying
Who am I buying from?
Techfleet is a marketplace. Every offer shows the Canadian seller who sells it to you, and their legal name and GST/HST number are on your receipt.
What does refurbished mean on Techfleet?
A refurbished device has been tested, cleaned and fixed where needed by the seller, so it works like new. The grade only describes how the outside looks.
What do the grades mean?
Excellent looks close to new. Very good has light signs of use you'd only notice up close. Good has visible scratches or scuffs, never cracks or dents, at the lowest price. Every grade is fully tested and works 100%.
Why are there several prices for the same model?
Several sellers can offer the same model in different grades, storage sizes and colours. Each sets its own price, and you choose the offer you like.
Shipping and delivery
How much is shipping?
Ground shipping is free across Canada. Faster options are shown at checkout at the carrier's price.
Do you ship to Québec?
Not yet. We'll open Québec when our French site is ready. We ship to every other province and territory.
Why did my order come in more than one box?
Each seller ships its own items. An order with items from two sellers arrives as two shipments.
Can I pick my order up?
Some sellers offer free local pickup. When a seller does, you'll see it at checkout on that seller's shipment.
Do you ship outside Canada?
No. Techfleet ships within Canada only.
Returns and warranty
Can I return a device?
Yes. You have 30 days from delivery to return a device for any reason, and returns are free. It must be in the condition you received it, with everything it came with, and signed out of every account.
When do I get my refund?
Refunds go back to your original payment method once the device has been received and checked. Your bank may take a few business days to show it.
What does the 12-month warranty cover?
Any fault that stops the device working normally and was not caused by damage or misuse, like a screen, battery, camera, speaker or charging port problem. It doesn't cover drops, liquid damage or cosmetic wear described by the grade.
My device arrived broken or not as described. What now?
Contact us within 30 days. The device is repaired, replaced or refunded in full, including any shipping you paid.
Payments
How do I pay?
By card at checkout. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Techfleet never sees your full card number.
Why do I see more than one charge?
You enter your card once, but each seller charges it for its own items. An order from two sellers shows as two charges that add up to your total.
How is tax calculated?
Prices are in Canadian dollars. Taxes for your province are calculated at checkout from your shipping address.
Selling and repairs
Can I sell on Techfleet?
Canadian businesses that refurbish or resell electronics can apply to sell on Techfleet. Sellers must be registered for GST/HST.
Can I sell or trade in my own phone?
Trade-ins on the marketplace are coming later. In Winnipeg, you can trade in a device with Techfleet Winnipeg at service.techfleet.ca.
Can I get my device repaired?
Yes. Find a repair shop Techfleet has checked, see the price for your model, and book. Shops also take repairs by mail.
